Safeguard Battery Garages are available in a choice of 3 standard widths (codes 24,27 and 30) and 3 lengths (codes 49, 53 and 57). The garages are offered in forward draining (SAFEGUARD F) or rearward draining (SAFEGUARD R) versions. An example garage coding is SAFEGUARD F24/49 which represents a garage with an internal width of 2.44m (8ft) and an internal length of 4,90m (16ft). Click here for dimensions

The New Safeguard Omni

Well known for producing concrete garages of all sizes and shapes, Compton also has great experience in providing stores, workshops, sheds, dustbin stores and semi industrial buildings. The new Safeguard Omni Building has internal spans ranging from 3.65m upwards, and in a variety of eaves heights from 2.36m upwards. Walls

Heavy - duty, steel reinforced non-combustible, precast concrete panels with vertical stiffening ribs at 200mm centres finished externally with an applied spar aggregate.All connecting bolts and other fittings are rusting resistant. All external joints are sealed internally with mastic. Wall to roof junctions are capped with matching spar aggregate faced concrete panels (with brown plastisol capping trims) or brown plastisol coated steel flashings.

Ultrasheet 200 embossed finish galvanised steel sheeting 10/3 profile for a quality product at an economical price

Doors

Spring operated retractable up and over doors pre- installed in matching steel box profile frames. Multipoint locking as standard to all 3 sides of the frame and supplied complete with 5 pin Eurlock(20,000 differs as standard). Doors can be supplied in horizontally or vertically grooved swaging. Doors and frames can be supplied in a primed finish or in plastisol finish (white or brown)
Matching steel personnel doors with horizontal swaging are available as an option in 800mm (2ft 8in) and 1200mm (4ft 0in) frame widths.

Rainwater Disposal

SAFEGUARD F24,F27 & F30 (Forward Draining)
have aggregate faced concrete gutters above each door draining into internal aluminium downpipes cast into each doorpost to discharge rainwater at slab level from angled aluminium pipe shoes.

SAFEGUARD R24,R27 & R30 (Rearward Draining)
Brown PVCu 'Squareflo' gutters fitted to a plastisol steel fascia and 65mm square PVCu "close to wall" downpipes fitted to the rear wall to minimise the risk of vandal damage.

Concrete Bases

Concrete bases must be both flat and level. Steps of varying height between adjacent garages in a block can be incorporated if required. Standard base layout drawings are available on request.
