Sitting within The Compton Group of companies, Compton Commercial is a focused division specialising in the provision of sectional concrete battery garages, extra high garages and buildings to commercial customers within both public and private sectors.

The concrete garage market began in the early 1950’s and grew rapidly in the 1960’s on the back of the boom in car ownership. In 1958 Compton Buildings was established and unlike many of the other early manufacturers, Compton is still going strong today and is a Marshalls plc specialist company. Many of our current projects involve replacing the large blocks of asbestos roofed garages built in the1960’s with a more modern, attractive and economical block of garages.

Customers’ demands for ever varying bespoke requirements continue to challenge the Commercial Division. However, no other direct competitor has a concrete buildings range of such quality, scope or appearance.

With decades of experience the dedicated commercial buildings team work closely with specifiers and contractors to ensure customers receive the building they desire. The commercial building range now includes battery garages with flat or apex prtched roofs, concrete store buildings, light industrial buildings, minibus garages and much more.
